DPSB Stuffing Box
LIGHTFIR DPSB Fine-tuning long-acting polished rod stuffing box is a kind of device that can reduce the wear of the sealing element by adjusting the tightening force to the sealing element little by little, to make sure that the sealing element work over longer time and have better sealing effect.
The product consists of three seals: Stage I seal is designed for replacing the Stage II sealing that lose effect due to long-term wear. When the stuffing box is working normally, the screw at two sides (part 4) rotate to the highest position, and the cone sealing element is in a free state, which only works when the stage sealing element were replaced. The Stage II seal will be always in the sealing state during the polished rod reciprocating motion. It can be finely adjusted by the regulating the adjustment part (part 7), constantly reducing the wear to sealing element, maintain a good sealing effect, and effectively extend the life of the sealing element. The Stage III seal is to prevent the grease relief in the sealing cavity, so that there is lubrication film between the polished rod and the sealing element to reduce friction resistance, and prevent the external sand and other dirt from entering the stuffing box and damaging the accessories.
