The ingressed gas mainly exists in bubbles. The liquid-gas seperator can only eliminate the bubbles larger than 3~25mm, the bubbles smaller than 1.5875mm in diameter must be removed by the vacuum degasser. In order to effectively remove the small bubbles in the drilling fluid, my company provides different models of vacuum degassers according to customers’ demand. It is indispensable equipment in exploratory wells, super-deep well, underbalanced well drilling process.
Vacuum pump keeps the vacuum in the chamber. The gas is discharged into the gas-water separator, and then vented to a safety area through the outlet of the gas-water separator. The pressure differential between internal and external of the chamber makes the gas cut mud enter the chamber through the central pipe, and throw to the three umbrella-shaped baffles in the chamber through the openings on the hollow shaft of the impeller. In this process, bubbles are brought to the mud surface, expand and break under vacuum condition. The gas is removed by the vacuum pump and the degassed mud flows to the bottom of the degasser, and then is pumped out by the internal impeller to the next stage of the circulation system.
Features: i. The vacuum pump is cooled with water loop and suitable for safer evacuation of combustible gas. ii. The design of jetting of the fluid promotes additional turbulence for efficient gas removal. iii. The working condition can be saw from the viewing window, and the working condition can be adjusted by pressure regulating valve, can make sure the degaser works under optimum condition.
